Microsoft Legal Department is Hiring a Remote Technical Program Manager

Job Duties

Microsoft has the following open job opportunity:

Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment to ensure quality and optimization of use. Develop and execute project plans in order to identify and resolve deficiencies and improve overall business performance. May supervise the manufacturing and installation of Microsoft’s proprietary tools and technologies. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of experience in hardware design and/or implementation program and/or project management.
  • Specific Skills Requirements: This position requires at least 36 months of experience in Customer interaction to share product capability for specific business segment workloads, Reporting; at least 24 months of experience in Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release, Publishing technical papers with partners to improve product visibility and increase TTM, Customer Debug lead for power & performance issues; at least 12 months of experience in Deep dive power & performance analysis & competitive analysis of data center SKUs; and some education or experience in Python.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSBRSV17488), in Hillsboro, OR, is $160,000 to $190,000.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
